  1. Congratulations to Steven! He is a great young man and athlete. We'll never know but Souhegan might not have won their last two Div. III championships if Steven hadn't been on the field. Scoring 9 out of the 11 Saber TDs in the last two championship games is extremely impressive especially when you consider the opponent, Portsmouth. Good luck to Steven at Amherst College and congratulations on a great high school career.

  2. Souhegan would have been just fine without Jellison (Bedford game) in the championship games, but having him definitely put them on a whole other level. Without a doubt the best HS player in the state this year, and attending a tremendous academic school like Amherst is a smart move on his part. We all wish him good luck in the future!

  7. I believe your stat on Vieira might be wrong since every one of the major papers have said Jellison's tied for second at 76.

  8. Wow, that Union Leader All-State team missed a ton of kids, especially on the line: Ryan, Cultera, Proulx, etc. What a joke

  9. Vieira stat is not wrong thos papers didnt not cover him. Vieira was covered by the lowell sun and the eagel tribune he hold the record for most TD's in a career for a player in the MVC with 85 Jellison brother first with 103 vieira is second with 85 and steven is tied for third with 76

  10. 10:41 you are right on. Thought this was supposed to be comprehensive "team". Should have been a Manchester, Nashua team only. Token southern and northern players identified. Guess the UL only plays to their immediate territory. They must figure they are voting to their readership.Too bad for the "other" really good players this past fall.

  11. 10:41 & 9:15 That happens a lot(in all sports) with newspaper allstate(allstar)seletions. They only pick the ones they see play.

  12. Not one player from pinkerton, south, or Londonderry? That is three of the biggest high schools in the state. Well over 7,000 kids total in all schools and not one is one of the 25 best players in the state?

  14. What top 25 list are you referring to? In my Mr. Football rankings, I had one player from South, 1 from Londonderry and two from Pinkerton in the top 24...

  16. 78, not 85. But it's D-V, pretty cheap

  17. According to the papers down south and Pelham high school Viera had 85. He would have been that good know matter what division he was in.

  18. That's just a bold-faced lie. I'd like to see him gain those yards against those defenses PA and the rest of D1/2 had when he was playing the last couple years.
