Eastern Basketball Preseason Showcase - Event Recap

After all of the buildup and anticipation for this event it finally happened. The Eastern Basketball Preseason Showcase was held today - and it was a HUGE success.

The event was held at the Eastern Sports Center in Plaistow, NH. It provided the opportunity for over 150 high school boys and girls basketball players in NH to not only play against the best players in their respective class but also gain exposure to college coaches and recruiting services.

Keene State, Plymouth State, Rhode Island College, Salem State, Gordon College, Framingham State, Anna Maria College and NYU Poly were just some of the schools who had coaches / scouts in attendance.

The New England Recruiting Report was also in attendance. Their event recap can be found right here:

In the span of jut a few hours there were 8 games played, featuring the NHIAA's top players in the classes of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The atmosphere in the Eastern Sports Center was electric, the place was packed and there was a vibrant energy that you could feel throughout each game that was played.

There was a TON of talent on display. Even the freshmen games were played at a VERY high level. It was a GREAT day for New Hampshire basketball.

The event was put on by the Eastern Sports Center in conjunction with the New Hampshire Notebook. Over the next couple weeks you will be able to find recaps and player evaluations on all 8 of the games right here on the NH Notebook.
