NH Notebook and BST Basketball Present: North vs. South Clash 2011

You know how folks up in the northern part of New Hampshire are always saying how their players get a lack of respect? How they are just as good if not better than the players down south? Well now is their chance to prove it. And it is also a chance for the players from the southern part of the state to prove that their skills are indeed superior.

It's the best players from north of Concord vs. the best players from south of Concord. Girls games as well as boys games. The top talent from all across the state competing against each other with bragging rights on the line. This is going to be BIG. It's the "North vs. South Clash 2011," presented by the NH Notebook and BST Basketball.

The Games
The games will consist of two 20 minute halves, stopped time under 2 minutes of each half. There will be a 35 second shot clock. The teams will be overseen by a coach, who will enforce team play and take care of substitutions.

Benefits For Players
Not only will players be representing their region of the state with bragging rights on the like, but they will be able to play with and against the state's other top players. College coaches will be present to take in the action and scout the talent, and the NH Notebook will have extensive coverage of the event. This event also provides the kids with an opportunity to play on a college floor and in front of a packed house. All players will also receive a Nike game jersey prior to their game.

Who Gets an Invite?
The players who get invited will be determined by the staff of the NH Notebook and BST Basketball. We are also seeking the input of the high school coaches in NH if they would like to nominate any players to be invited to play in the event. This event is open to prep school players in addition to NHIAA players, as long as they are NH residents. Invitations will be sent out very soon. We will accept 10 players per team, first come first serve.

Let the games begin!!
