Dover Boys Hockey Wins 5th State Title

Dover High recently won the 2011 Division II boys hockey championship with a 5-1 victory over top seeded Merrimack. Forward Ian Duffy and netminder Chad Garland led the way for the Green Wave. The whole team played some great hockey in their playoff run. This was their 5th state title, 1st under head coach Steve Riker.

Last Monday the team appeared on the High School All-Star Sports Show on WTSN AM 1270, which was broadcasted live at the Loft at Strafford Farms in Dover. Coach Riker and juniors Travis Smalley, Tyler Zabkar and Matt Henderson were our guests. Here's what they had to say.
