St. Thomas Crushes Somersworth in D-V Semis

St. Thomas is back in the Division V title game. They went down 7-0 early, as Somersworth QB Drew Francouer (174 rushing yards and 2 TD's) ran in a 66 yard TD on the second play of the game. That's when the undefeated Saints took over. They scored the game's next 35 points to take a commanding 35-7 lead in the 2nd half and cruised to a 50-15 win in the Division V semi-finals on Saturday afternoon at Exeter High School.

Ryan Monette ran for 225 yards and 4 touchdowns, QB Scott Munroe passed for 181 yards and 2 TD's, Andrew Kahr caught 6 passes for 75 yards and a TD to go with an interception on defense. Sam Quirk, Tom Cifrino and David Grunbeck led a dominating performance by the STA defense.

St. Thomas advances to the Division V title game where they will host #3 seed Windham, who defeated #2 seed Kearsarge in the other semi-final 33-27.
