BG Boys Fall in Title Game of BABC Holiday Tourney

Over the holiday break the defending Division I champion Bishop Guertin boys basketball team left NH to go and play some of the top high school teams in Massachusetts. They participated in the BABC Holiday Tournament, which took place in Chelsea, MA.

BG played against 2 very good teams in this tournament - Cambridge Rindge & Latin and St. John's Prep. These games were played at a high level and a fast pace. The Cardinals played 2 teams that are as good if not better than anybody they will play this season in the NHIAA. They defeated Cambridge Rindge & Latin in a great game on Tuesday before falling to St. John's Prep in the final on Thursday night.

Senior guard Logan Kesty dropped 25 points in the first game, while Joe McCarthy had 30 points in the second game. Sophomore guard CJ Boykin fractured his thumb in the first game and is out for 4 weeks. Check out the highlights for both games in the below video.
