The Manchester Memorial girls basketball team has certainly had its share of ups and downs this season. And for most of Saturday's game vs. Manchester Central it looked like it would end up as another disappointing loss. Central led for virtually the entire game, and they were up 35-24 after 3 quarters of play. But the Crusaders outscored the Little Green 13-0 in the 4th quarter to win it 37-35.
Amra Elezovic (17 points) hit a layup after grabbing a rebound off her own missed shot with just 2 seconds left for the winning basket. Danielle Fletcher had 11 points for Memorial, while Central was led by Ashley Giampetruzzi (10 points) and Katherine Johnson (9 points and 10 rebounds).
