The New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) is the most competitive prep school league in the country for boys basketball. And on Tuesday their all-league teams were announced via the New England Recruiting Report. Five of the players who were selected are from New Hampshire.
The headliner for local players was the St. Mark's School's Kaleb Tarczewski, who was named to the 1st Team All-League in the NEPSAC's Class AA. Tarczewski (from Claremont, NH) will be attending Arizona University in the fall on a basketball scholarship. The 7-footer is the #5 ranked player in the country for the Class of 2012 according to ESPN. This Sunday he will be playing for Team East in the Gazelle Group's All-American Championship, which will be aired at 3 pm on ESPN.
The other four NH players who made an all-league team this winter in the NEPSAC are Cushing Academy's Kaleb Joseph (3rd Team All-League in Class AA), Proctor Academy's Mike Lombard (Honorable Mention in Class AA), Phillips Exeter Academy's Connor Green (2nd Team All-League in Class A) and Berwick Academy's Harry Rafferty (1st Team All-League in Class C).
