The NH Notebook is Seeking a New Videographer

The New Hampshire Notebook is currently looking to hire a new camera man/woman and anyone is welcome to apply for this position. Experience with filming and editing video of sporting events is strongly preferred. This is a paid position.

Keep reading for more info.

Jon Kesty served as the videographer and co-owner of the NH Notebook for the past couple years. I cannot say enough good things about the work that he did and how much of a joy it was working with him. He is great with the camera and an even better person. Whoever takes his spot really has some big shoes to fill.

Jon went to a ton of games with me and put in a lot of long hours working on the videos that have been up on the site. He did it because he has a passion for covering high school sports, and because we don't make a ton of money in this business whoever fills his role will need to have that same passion.

Jon did a tremendous job, not only with the videos but also with various other aspects of the business side of things here at the NH Notebook, including marketing and sales. Unfortunately he is moving on to different endeavors and as a result I am looking for a new videographer.

Responsibilities for this position are filming the various boys basketball, girls basketball and football games covered by the site, filming the post-game interviews and then producing a highlight video to be posted on the site.

You don't have to work all the games I go to (I want you to keep your sanity!), but I do like to have video coverage of as many games as possible.

There also may be some feature stories that come up where we go and interview people with video as well.

You would have to provide your own video camera and video editing software.

There is an opportunity for more responsibility, but that is the minimum. If you're interested or would like more information (such as how much you would be paid, etc.) email me at jeremy.leveille@gmail.com
