Big Weekend of Football is Here!

This weekend is the semi-finals in Divisions IV, V and VI. It is also the last week of the regular season in D-I, II and III. This is the best time of year if you're a high school football fan!

The NH Notebook had a whopping 6 games covered last weekend and we have 6 more on the schedule this weekend. Tonight I will be in Hampton for the Bishop Guertin @ Winnacunnet game in Divivion II. Winnacunnet clinches the #1 seed in the D-II playoffs with a win. The other game we'll have covered tonight is Pinkerton @ Nashua South, with our newest writer Ross Laorenza making his debut for us covering the action.

Tomorrow we will have 4 games, covered as I will be spending the day in Manchester. First up it's the Division IV semi-finals with #2 seed Trinity hosting #3 seed Windham. Don't be fooled by the 42-7 score Trinity won by last week, this time it's anyone's game! Then after that I'll head over to St. A's for the Souhegan vs. Goffstown regular season finale. Souhegan has already clinches the #1 seed in D-III, but Goffstown could get the #2 seed with a win.

Our writer DC will also be at 2 games on Saturday. First he will be covering Monadnock @ Kearsarge in the D-V semi-finals, and then after that he will travel about 10 minutes down the street and cover New Hampton @ Proctor in a prep school showdown.

Additionally, I will be joining the guys at WGAM's Friday Night Lights for an interview tonight at 10:20, and also tomorrow morning from 8-9 am on 900/1250 am and wgamthegame.com. It's a big weekend for football here on the NH Notebook, best of luck to all of the teams!
