ESPN NH's FNL Winter Poll - 1/21

The top 10 boys basketball teams in the state, regardless of division. Voting was done by members of ESPN New Hampshire's Friday Night Lights Winter program. Voting was done on Tuesday, prior to the games that were played that night. In other words, if voting was done today instead Merrimack was surely be ahead of South (Merrimack beat South on Tuesday night) and Plymouth would be out of the poll (Plymouth lost by 19 to Hanover this week). One game that was certainly taken into account was Campbell's big upset win over Conant, who was in the top 10 all season prior to this week.

At any rate, here is this week's poll:

1. Central (unanimous) 6-0 (last week: 1)
2. Pembroke (D2) 7-0 (last week: 3)
3. Trinity 5-1 (last week: 2)
4. South 3-1 (last week: 5)
5. Merrimack 5-0 (last week: 7)
Londonderry 5-1 (last week: 6)
7. BG 6-1 (last week: 4)
8. Portsmouth (D2) 5-1 (last week: 10)
9. Plymouth (D2) 7-0 (last week: Unranked)
10. Pinkerton 5-2 (last week: Unranked)

Others Receiving Votes: Lebanon (D2), Newport (D3)
