Here's an update on Bishop Guertin junior WR Dylan Fagan, who left Saturday's game vs. Goffstown in an ambulance after suffering an injury while making a catch near the goal line. After the play Fagan laid motionless on the field for about 20 minutes before being helped into the ambulance by a stretcher. It was a scary moment, not just for BG fans but for anyone with an ounce of compassion.
"I am okay, it's nothing serious" Fagan told the NH Notebook earlier today. "I'm at home icing, heating, resting and using pain relievers for the injury."
Also, this morning at 11:20, BG assistant coach Sean Fagan tweeted, "update on Dylan Fagan, carted off field in game with neck injury. Was taken to emergency room, CAT scans were negative, he's home doing well. Appreciate the outpouring of support.
Fagan had 6 catches for 107 yards and 1 TD during the game vs. Goffstown prior to the injury, which occurred with just over 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Goffstown won the contest 35-29.
We're happy to report that Fagan is okay, and we wish him best of luck with a speedy recovery.
